I have a 2013 golf tsi and I'm trying to reset it but it just comes back even after it says that the service has been reset.... how do I get around this?

I have a video on how to reset the service warning on a golf linked below, if that is not the same dash type as yours have a look through my playlist of service intervals (linked at the end of this video) and possibly find the same type dash on another VW model that matches yours and you should have the info you need. Not working. When I follow the process or actually says the service is reset but the service now message goes on immediately thereafter

I can't say I have had this issue on them models, but here are some tips that worked on other models. Holding down the button instead of just quick release, if it has an OK option on the wheel using that to reset it. If the manual way still fails no matter how you do it, we'll then VCDS /VAG COM reset is your next option. Best of luck with it 👍🤞💪

How about the actual oil change. That would be useful

The oil changes for most vehicles are very similar right across the board. If I have a unique one that I thought could add value I would put it up. I post these up as there is a million different types of service resets, as a Mechanic, technician or lube tech we all encounter looking these up and it can be time consuming. Having a video that is less than 90 seconds can really speed up the process for you while not needing to leave the vehicle while you do it.
