Another great video. Just a thought now you have had this done for a while now see in comments that mpg about the same ? But was wondering do you have the dpf light coming on more frequently if it comes on at all and add blue is it all the same as before ?

Thanks very much🙌. No, absolutely no lights from DPF coming on the ad blue is just the same.. no more no less on that. Consumption to me appears to be identical but poss a few extra miles out of a tank🤙. And the after run regen seems as frequent as prior to the map in my opinion. Overall I would say I’m chuffed with it👌

Hi Lucio, Thanks buddy. Re the map no I did here Paul say the other code on a screen was to do with gearbox software... we only loaded the stage 1 File on the ECU for this visit. 👍

Thanks Buddy 🙌... I know that they do all different maps so if yours is a 180 from factory it stands a good chance it would be be over 200 with a stage 1.

Paul Weston Hi Paul, thanks 🙏. Yes it does if the warranty issue is ECU related. they said their is no software available anywhere where the warranty is not effected on if it’s an update at mai dealer etc...

👍 thanks, no filter just pure software and I haven't really done enough miles to say concrete but its seems to feel about the same... Its due to give a better return but trouble is im still playing with it. I need the novelty to wear off so I an measure it lol

Richard Harvey thanks 🙏. I have always seen Revo marketing and attending big shows and been drawn to them. They have 17yrs in their field and still growing etc... I was invited by them to come and have a stage 1 loaded giving me the opportunity to film a behind the scenes of the process. After visiting now I would always use them 👍 so who knows maybe there’ll be a stage 2 video 😂 take a look at the official video on Revo’s channel it’s 👌

Jens Dobernecker Hi Buddy, this was a concern for me too and the reason I went with REVO due to the testing they carry out on the files before they release them. The increase to 190 make no know issues with reliability and it’s on many vehicles now so well tested. It just opens up power that is already available to the engine via software so not like adding hardware parts and stretching things. Hope that helps👍

Yes I have reinstalled the Transporter HQ V2's as personal preference i prefer this unit and I have the H7 LED Lap in them too. they are the best👍

Thanks 🙌 it might affect some but my insurance were told the following day, they had the info on their system for stage 1 and it was nice and straight forward for me! No extra cost either which is a bonus. (note: that might not be the case for others i guess all depends on insurer, tuner, and age range etc..)

For a while I've been struggling with the thought of remapping my 2018 T6. It's a 150 HP DSG, just like yours, and I am very happy with the way it drives. This video pushed my a little closer to having a Stage 1 done. I need to ask though, what's that done to your fuel consumption? Thank you.

It’s been a great modification and several months later I’m still as pleased. I can’t really say I’ve noticed any effect on economy but it does apparently help with mpg

Hey Michael, thanks for the great comment 👍. Great to hear you have bought yourself a transporter 👌👊. Do you know if you were given the adjusting tool with the van? It looks like a large semicircle spanner with some teeth (designed to interlock with the adjustment rings) if so it can be a relatively easy driveway mod to raise the height if you have some adjustment left on the coil overs. (Different makes different levels.) ie so lows will be low even at their top height but B14’s are normally wound rite down for a low ride so plenty to raise it by..... if you would just prefer to take to a garage I can put a shout out on the forums for your nearest custom approved garage?

Hi Alan, yes it is. it has a front and rear camera with dash cam recording and rear view recording simultaneously. great for that van as when the tv is down or loaded up in the rear it makes no difference I can still see behind perfectly. I was guided by Revo and the software that they had developed, to my knowledge the stage 1 map was set at 190 for a few reasons but have to say it’s really good on all levels nearly a year on👍

Had a revo map put on my 102bhp t6. Sadly it’s absolute junk. Van now has a course idle to it, nasty harmonic vibrations between 1k and 1.8k rpm, judders like feck when opening the throttle wide in 5th, and seems to have pre ignition issues. Having it removed next week and a proper remap done elsewhere. It is a very low mileage van and was nice to drive before hand. The maps made the van hideous to drive.

sorry to hear that, I wonder if there is a updated file or its worth talking to Revo about it? I have to say the software on my set up has been really good for me. I am def no expert in this field, and I take you along with me in the video for my experience. The file going on and the road test were 1 week apart and apx 300 - 400 miles in so far and its 👌.

Hi revo, thanks for the reply, much appreciated. It is a Euro 5 102 bhp engine. The van had the map installed at 40k miles and has just got to 41k. I went for revo as it does have good reviews for the type of flash on map. The issues appeared as soon as the map was done by an authorised agent in the south. Because of the distance to them it’s taken some time to get the free time to take it back to them. As I said, it’s booked in for this Thursday so hopefully get some sort of idea what’s going on. The van was great before hand. It seems like either poor timing or to much torque or both,but would rather let them give the right answers. Most of my driving is motorways and I don’t rag it around like a boy racer. If anything I’ve been driving it like the engine has been made of glass recently. Biggest fear is it’s damaging the DMF or gearbox etc. Hopefully all goes well and it makes it there Thursday. I will let you know what they find.

@@cplmackyp3 All Revo stage 1 diesel software is designed to work with a stock vehicle and all its components, including DPF.

By gutting the DPF, you gain in some areas, but loose in others, it also becomes illegal & wouldn’t pass a correct MOT test with a DPF delete, DPF deletes are smoky too, why would you got cowboy mode on such a stunning van, Stage 1 on these is perfect 👌🏼

back in the day..I used to strap K&N's on, plugs ANYTHING the aftermarket world could give me without taking a head off a car and all for about 7BHP 🤣 but I recently added some extra weight into the van with all the kit and basically this extra BHP has sorted that and given me a decent pedal all from a bit of software.... mind blown.....however hats off to you for your results dude. 🙌 very impressive 👍
