Hi, does anyone know when timing belt needs replacement on vw up? There are lot of different opposing opinions. Mine is CHYA 60 hp model from 2015.

In general, regular visual inspections should be conducted once a certain mileage is reached. Depending on the driving style, the timing belt for the 1.0 MPI CHY_ engine should be replaced between 60,000 and 210,000 kilometers. I couldn't find an exact value.

Yes, because the Up can be driven very well in the lower speed range despite the long gear ratio - as long as you don't want to accelerate :)

60PS oder 75PS. 65PS gibt es nicht

Seit August 2020 sind der CHYA (60 PS) und CHYB (75 PS) leider Geschichte. Seit dem wird der UP mit dem 65 PS Motor angetrieben. Dieser erfüllt die Euro 6d-TEMP Norm.
