Sweet setup! You defiantly know your way around food prep! Nice kitchen build out on your tin top, looks like you have everything well figured out! Like others have pointed out it looks like you have some experience around that frying pan. Either way, you cook up a healthy meal, and very efficient at clean up, and storage is top notch!

Awesome cooking videos in the van! Did you build those cabinets yourself? Trying to do something like that in my van. Blueprints for how to build would be awesome. Looking forward to watching more of your videos. 👍🏼

Very practical system with all your need just there. Is a roof mounted fan in your future things to do or you are happy with the present ventilation? Have you installed safety alarms on it? Very nice rig indeed, thank you again for sharing.

The current cross ventilation works well. I'd like a roof fan but I haven't found one low profile enough. I have a tight garage. What do you mean by safety alarms? For theft?

Great set up Kirt. Hope you don't mind if I copy it. Can you put up some dimensions of the sink/ fridge module and the stove module please. Or even do a video of how you went about making them. Out of interest is that a VW 3/4 rock and roll bed or have you made the whole set up? Cheers Rich
@KirtFitzpatrick7 жыл бұрын
I made the whole setup. There are things I would do differently. I would keep the bed bench the same but change how it works. The backrest cushion fills the walkway space to fill out the bed. Side bench is completely empty for storing bedding. Trunk is completely empty for all the gear you want to fill it with. It's a no shuffling design. FYI, The cutting board height is a compromise and is very dependent on the ride height of your van. I do plan to make more videos about it but right now my van is gutted while I finish the interior. Hopefully I'll have it back together in less than two months.

Many thanks for your reply and inspiration. I'm really looking forward to seeing a video. Pen and grab paper will be coming out this evening to start mine. I hope you don't mind if I pinch some of your ideas! Love the Birch Ply look. Cheers Rich

Kirt Fitzpatrick cool I just made it and it came out spot on! lol never had kale before, tasted like a healthy meal....please do more cooking vids man...I can watch those 2 vids over and over
@KirtFitzpatrick7 жыл бұрын
I can't believe you figured out the recipe from the vid. :-) Butter, eggs, salt & pepper. Olive oil, onions, mushrooms, red pepper, kale, salt & pepper. Onions and mushrooms make just about anything taste better. And the secret to kale is to massage it first (smash and rub it in your hands). Massaged kale only needs a minute or two in the pan. It should be the last thing added but I mixed up the order here. Glad you liked it!

Kirt Fitzpatrick nice I will try that next time however I did rub it for a minute as I washed it under the sink. LOL I watch the video quite a few times so I figured out what you used
