your mk2 is amazing!! The abfs sound so gorgeous i have a simular sound in mine. i have some problems with it tho, the idle is completely off, it bluders around between 700 - 1000 rpm on idle and when you try to keep it below 3000 rpm the idle goes up and down until you get above 3000 rpm and it runs fine, i dont know what to check, ive looked at the sparkplugs and they are all covered in soot like it runs to rich..

+Simca I think I get you, you are talking about neutral drive and then the car is unstable and you can really feel it if you put your hand on gearshift and he's shaking too much... There are many thing leading to this, usually it because of the valve leakage, unclean fuel tank, unclean injectors, fuel pressure regulator or because of many sensors the newer engines posses like the temperature sensor of the engine, air pressure sensor, Lambda probe, the air mass meter, ECU exchange... Sometimes it depends even on the engines mechanical condition. That's why I prefer old KR or PL engines, 130-140 hp, performance is superb and they don't have so many fucking sensors. I'm not used to speaking english about these topics so if I forgot a letter or two or failed at writing something, sorry my bad!

Kreso102 its alright i actually solved it a few weeks ago the vacuumline to the ecu was not connected... but now theres still some stuff, while giving half throttle on a constant speed it kind of shakes, the engine seems like it doesnt want to keep going but overall it runs great now

I'm a huge fan of Golf 2, they were built in my country (ex Yugoslavia) so i had 5 of them, 2 were turbodiesel, 2 were 1.8 16v (PL engine) and 8v and 1.3 is the one i have now. This time it may be to the air mass cause the engine isn't getting enough cold air or perhaps the fuel regulator. 1.8 16v, 2.0 abf & 2.0 digital engines from Golf 3 had numerous problems with enough fuel getting into the engine, mine had the same issues but I didn't had the money at the time to solve everything

Haaaà ce bon vieux 16 s serieux tout forgé mode turbo c est une bombes mécanique se 16 s bien sur il y a le tfsi turbo c est aussi une bonnes mécanique mais le 16s des années 80 et bien plus faciles à préparer faut juste avoir la monnaie pour la passer en toute forger bielles titanes vilebrequin allégé renforcer pistons forger même le bloc tu le passé en 2L1 et t aura un avion de chasse une bombe mécanique
