Hi Lyubov, the lesson was great as usual and your work beautiful. I wanted to ask you what pastels you use, I mean which brand, also do we not need to use a fixative on the pastels? Also what type of Gabardine you use as 20 mm ribbons come out effortlessly while I am struggling and tugging to pull out ribbon. My second question is about your lessons, I want to take a lesson on roses but donot know how much they roughly cost. Just an estimate. Thank you so much for all you are doing.

Hello Rachel Sardar. Thank you. For toning the finished embroidery I use DRY SOFT PASTEL. In the video, I show a box of my pastels. The fixer is not needed, the pastel adheres perfectly to the silk ribbons, if you embroider with artificial silk ribbons, it is better to use paints instead of pastels. I have a regular gabardine, a silk ribbon passes easily. If you are having trouble getting the tape through the fabric, use a large eye needle. What lesson about roses are you interested in? @@LyubovLebedeva Thank you for guiding me about pastels, I have done a lot of art work with pastels on paper while I was getting my art degree but it had to be fixed with a fixative. Now I will be comfortable in using pastels on silk ribbon. I have ordered silk ribbons from Etsy but due to Covid the shipments from China are taking time.
