the way i screamed when i saw "vy2" in my notifications omg. i really like how you talked abt a restrained style of the pv, because even though all those effects are nice they do eat up time and u end up second-guessing yourself. Im the same way and I'm trying to learn how to manage my time better. this pv came out great and drove the producer's aesthetic home. you really did a great job mio and this cover is lovely

Okay, I don't usually comment on stuff (much less something this emotional), but this cover introduced me to this song and means a lot to me. I think the lyrics are about the melancholy of everyday life, which I heavily relate to. I used to be really depressed and though I still struggle sometimes, it's gone from screeching agony to the dull ache that this song reminds me of. This song cheers me up because someone else wrote it, so I know I'm not the only one who feels this way. Basically, thank you for introducing me to this song! Keep up the great work! I've been a fan for at least 2 years now, and I'm never disappointed! : D

Usually I just listen to these songs, enjoying the unique sounds of a different language I don't understand, but reading the lyrics makes me feel... Conflicted. A lot has been happening for everyone, and on a personal level, I've been feeling really disconnected with no exact reason. I don't read anymore, I can't eat or sleep or do anything without some kind of noise drowning out the bitter thoughts that come with any period of silence. I've racked up at least 12 hours of videos a day, most of them I don't even actively listen to. I'm trying not to think, not to acknowledge that the quarantine paired with my own irregular growth is driving me up the wall, because slipping into a single thought can come to true, yet unsatisfactory, conclusions. The thought that I wasn't alone in that never occurred to me. I know it's not just all about me, but I assumed every feeling of disconnection was more tailored to the personality, different between people so that they can't relate a very personal experience without delving into disconnections between people. It's easy to assume that we all have our problems, but also easy to assume everyone knows their problems. It's so hard to want to tell someone how you're feeling when you can't even know. It's so hard to say "I have problems but I can't tell you because I can't even tell myself". Saying that to another person makes it seem so much emptier, and puts in perspective that a problem that can't be identified can't be fixed, and that's SCARY. And telling someone that makes it clear that no one can help you, either. Of course, talking about how hopeless it is isn't going to help anyone. But there's something freeing about hearing someone else say the same thing, and watch other people rise to it with "me too". I don't really know why I wrote this, maybe just for therapeutic reasons? But... seeing other people experience it and help each other through it makes those unknown problems look smaller. I think we're all afraid of the unknown. But if that unknown can be brought down by "you're not alone", maybe that unknown is just a little thing behind a big curtain.... Thanks.
