The Department of Literatures in English and the Institute for Gender and Development Studies (IGDS) Mona Unit UWI, Mona are co-hosting a public forum in which Adidja 'Vybz KarteI' Palmer will deliver the main presentation. The event took place on Thursday, March 10 at 7 p.m. at the Undercroft, UWI, Mona. Kartel's presentation is entitled, "'Pretty as a Colouring Book': My Life and My Art."

Tbh if a man only learns in school he isn't educated,this is a country that is very religious therefore the industries especially education will be very closed mined in terms of curriculum and most children don't want to learn outside of the class this in terms creates generations of close minded and unintelligent children who end up asking dumb questions as these collage children. I'm 15 and most of these questions they ask I could answer myself. Obviously we need to broaden our religious education and history curriculum to teach children open mindedness as well as different religions and society to get rid of the notion that "any thing that is not of God is evil" cause half the time them people deh weh Christians as well as the Jamaican diaspora a judge not even a fawt pon dhem😂. Me goodly inna the few of population weh actually learn outside of class and beyond what the news would tell me. Open yuh third yiy and stop be close minded.
