Now in New T giving should be done at will and pleasantly; not forced or to embarrass one into doing. This elder woman may even need financial help herself. This never should have happened. The church admin must proceed lovingly and circumspect with regard to all and respect for all. Don't depend on the tithes or offerings. Cursed is the man who puts his trust in man -Jere17:5-10. The Lord Jesus Christ Himself divinely provides for His Church ⛪️ It has to be built on sound Christian principles. An apology to this member is definitely necessary.

I do agree that the money could have been put to better use in improving the infrastructure and implementing or improving some social services in his community, however, we have to understand that this is NOT his responsibility...that's why we have ELECTED representatives. If he wants to do the noble thing and be civic minded in that regard to help, he can...BUT...it's not supposed to be resting on his shoulders due to the fact that he can afford to...he made his money independently...it's HIS...be can CHOOSE to spend it however he sees fit.
