I expected to see way bigger tanks! Lol. Those turrets hit hard though!

Hey guys, I know this is not the topic of this video, but I figured no one would know more about this than you. I wanted to ask what are you favorite/best JRPGs that are Japan only ? Can be any sub-genre, and on any console.

@@Vysethedetermined2 Fantastic!I knew you'd be the one to ask! Thank you so much for this list. Also If I can humbly take more of your time. What are the most unique JRPGs that you have played. I mean ones that have really unique gameplay mechanics that there is no other like it out there, or is very rare at least. I know this is a pretty vague request, so to help a bit, by unique the lowest level could be something like Traverse: Starlight & Prairie, or Nijiiro Dodgeball: Otome-tachi no Seishun, where some elements are normal but then a big part of the gameplay is unique. At the highest level it could be something like Pixygarden, where there is just nothing like it. Of course as before, any sub-genre and console, as long as it is Japan-only. Finally, this is a long shot, but there is a video on your channel about this game where you control one male character who is accompanied by small flying angel (or pixiy), and I think you could guide the character but not fully control him, and he was in competition with other characters for some sort of prize i think. Also I think moment was only on the overworld map, so you don't actually run inside towns or dungeons, even though you can enter them from the overworld. But it played out like events. I think. The whole game had something to do with angels, and it a title in a series.

@@VashxShanks Hey Vash, I saw your comment but have been very busy, currently mulling it over... but for the long shot, are you thinking of "Riviera"? It matches most of your description and started out as "Yakusoku no Chi Riviera", saw numerous ports and was the introduction to the "Dept. Heaven" series. Ironically, it's also one of the most unique RPGs I've ever played, lol.

@@Vysethedetermined2 It is no problem at all, take all the time you want. I really want to know what unique JRPGs you have come across that never left Japan. As for the question about the game, I like Riviera: The Promised Land, but that's not the game. I actually found the game yesterday thankfully. It is one of the few JRPG series that I haven't seen on your channel, so you may not have play it yet. It is called "Favorite Dear", developed by NEC Interchannel. You basically play the role of an angel, who goes down to find and eliminate a fallen angel. But as angel you don't fight personally, instead you use a fairy to find Heroes for you, or Braves as they are called in the game. Basically it's more of a management type of RPG, as you don't control the Heroes directly as they adventure, but you give out commands, gifts, and so on.

@@VashxShanks Ah! Yes, I do have one of those games, though I've yet to dabble in that series (I think it's "Favorite Dear: Junpaku no Yogensha"), but it looked intriguing. It's one I'd like to invest some time in... unfortunately, there's a lot going on at the moment.
