5T takes more detailed photos even on 2x Which is told to be optical in some sites but I think it's just amazingly softwared that it looks optical since there isn't any zoom lenses. I'm using the phone for over 3 weeks and I can never feel the quality drop on 2x.

Nova way better SOC, better selfie camera (idk if you can disable that smoothing on the a71), better materials, better video recording Samsung Battery, faster charging, better screen, slightly better camera, the nova was too dark and the textures were hard to see, better design(IMO)

Putting a flagship cpu on a midrange phone is one of the craziest (and best) moves I've seen from a company. Just got my Nova 5T yesterday and it makes me giggle at how fast and battery efficient it is (also had to install like 7 system updates in a row, including the Android 10 update). Got it for 270 dollars

A71 is better on multimedia ( camera, watching movies, browsing internet, instangram, etc.) Slightly better baterry life. So, depends on what you want. If Npva 5t had an amoled display, even it wa Slightly higher priced, I would buy it . But, for me, is hard to give up on amoled screen, using them since 2014.

Samsung that runs on androind 8 to 10 has full access to good luck and other samsung built in features and apps that allows you to customise your device the way you like it such as customizing the recent apps, navigation bar, changing texts to a different color (foreground, background, layout colors etc). You can make your own theme to apply and changing the notif. Pannel is cool too. Rooting Samsung is not difficult too which you can do anything you like , how it looks and changing the whole thing sound good. Other phone can be customized too but if you don't root them they're stuck with limited features.
