He makes me forget that hornists normally use both hands to play the instrument. All the work modern hornists do with their hand in the bell (which affects the sound quality more than you would think) is done only by his mouth.

Not only does having the hand in the bell affect the sound quality of the horn, but it also makes some chromatic notes easier on the modern horn and gives access to chromatic notes on the natural horn.

In the third to last variation of the horn theme in this piece, this is what I feel(I know this is a Rondo, but it has a Theme and Variations sort of feel): Melody flowing as though no conductor is needed, typical Mozart *Sudden stop in both the horn and the orchestra* Myself: Mozart! Why are interrupting your own melodic grace? Mozart: Huh? Oh, for humor of course, after all, my style is similar to Haydn and he is quite humorous in many ways, musically and in person **Horn and orchestra play like nothing happened**
