Leipzig has a strong bond to classical music, with the Gewandhaus Orchestra, the Opera as well as a very large Music School, each with their own programmes specially designed to bring young children towards classical music. Special symphony concerts or smaller interactive ones. So yes, one might say, a lot of young children here have a special bond to classical music. It's all dependant on the family background - if the parents listen to classical music, so will the kids.
