Wraith Song

Күн бұрын

I'm politically incorrect and damn proud of it
I love my country but I'm scared to death of its government
Ya believe what you read cause it's all that we give ya
Cause all of history is written by winners
I'm engaged in a frenzy of mass self-destruction
I feed upon your famine to fuel my corruption
I'm wholeselling hatred and international incest
To carnivorous hyenas in a global theft fest
I've mastered the arts of death and foreign nations genocide
And those who turn on me commit national suicide
I'm the queen of the global dream
And I rule a declining nation
I sit and watch all the violent screams
From the throne of your desperation
I killed them all and stole their land
Enslaved the blacks and slaughtered the red man
In God we trusted and I gave birth
To would be kings to rule the earth
I have more pigs than I have tits to feed
I embrace the world's phoney leaders
And hold the sucklings to my breast
And I'd fool you all as I'd feed ya
I'll prop you up then strike you down
And lick your blood up form your ground
Humpty fuckin dumpty
My empire's falling down
Breakdown, goodbye America
So long the music's died
Freedom's last hero's wasted
I made you, I'll break you
Breakdown, goodbye America
It's all gone, kiss it goodbye
There on bloody bended knees where
My nation died

Fun fact: What's happening now didn't just happen recently. It very much was happening back when this song was new. You've just recently opened your eyes to it. Sounds like you just don't realize the scope of it, yet. Just how long what you're seeing has been in the works. I do. Since the mid to late 1970's. Rome wasn't built in a day. America and it's culture were not transformed overnight.

Sounds like Restless Gypsy, but that's okay, Restless Gypsy is a great song. Hey Blackie, why don't you collaborate with Dave Mustaine. You're both very similar. WASP is your band. Megadeth is Dave's band. He became a Christian. You became a Christian. More recently, he struggled with whether or not he should play the "darker" songs or not. More recently, you struggled with whether or not you should play the "darker" songs or not. I think you two should put out a whole album together. But will you both be able to put your egos to the side and be able to work together to produce your goal of a kick ass album ?

Nice . I would like all people who have commented this - Listen to - Monster / Suicide / America - John Kay / Jerry Edmonton / Steppenwolf 1969 Monster album . It is a long song over 9:00 minutes ; pay attention to the lyric story line. Monster written by mainly by Kay and Edmonton . These two men chronologically gave us a very clear and to the point history of the United States . Kay born in what is know as Russia 1944. Edmonton born 1946 in Oshawa, Ontario . Interestingly not natural born American . Though I am sure they have American citizenship . This song one of the bands many signature classic tunes . WASP song here is spot on as well . First time I have heard it and inspired me to write this to appeal to other like minds, look up the lyric content Monster .

For those that feel this song is more relevant today than it's birth, If you like movies, Falling Down is a film more relevant today than it was when it was made.

You know the protagonist of Falling Down wasn’t a hero, right? He was the villain.

@@pudlmaker You are right, though- white male rage was on the ascendancy since the beginning of the Obama administration, but it's at its zenith now. Fallilng Down may be do for a remake.

@@pudlmaker Nope to what? A remake? I'm generally opposed to remakes/reboots, but a few have been worthwhile (The Thing, Invasion of the Body Snatchers)

Perfect song to describe the realities i wish more people would realize. Everything happening could be stopped. Its the ignorance and absence of our accountability as a whole, that got us here. We are rhe onky ones who can get us out.

It's better than singing "Kalinka-malinka" while being under the boots of drunken scoundrels. You just haven't had such a great experience, and that's great. Appreciate your freedom!

As cheesy as the intro is the sentiment and lyrics couldn't be more relevant today.

i think it was a Good intro, But I would have said ( I Love My Country But think our Government is Retarded ) it's Relevant today because people can't seem to Stop Talking about Slavery & "Racism" 2 thing that were NOT an issue in 1995 But since 2015 Ironically many Dumb people just want to Keep bringing it up.
