Oh my...... Seeing this show in Cardiff on October 24th and now really cannot wait.... I'm 44 and this is the last show I will ever go to and stand...I have degenerative disc disease and am determined to stand all the way through even though I will be in excruciating pain..... Blackie rocks! W.a.s.p ROCK! God bless you Blackie.... you are making an old lady very happy x

Sarah Lewis I emphasise with you Sarah. I have the same as well as other spinal issues ... last time I saw WASP I'd had spinal surgery 4 weeks before the gig....i downed vodka to go with my painkillers to enable me to tolerate the pain....will do the same in 2 weeks to allow me to stand and bear the pain.

Sarah Lewis Don’t give up. I’m 47 and I have osteo and psoriatic arthritis which is crippling me. Most venues are very accommodating, it really takes a bit of getting used to sitting down at gig when you are used to being in a pit or hanging over the barrier but it’s better than not going. Cardiff is brilliant with disabled access I have seen many bands there now. It’s harder at Download cos the platform is a way back but the smaller venues you tend to get a great spot. I love wasp, one of my favourite bands, saw them first in the 80’s, really wish I was going to see them this year but it’s just not going to happen :(

Best performance of the whole album yet, even beat the last tour 10 years ago and great they play all the acoustic parts but not so good the left out the promised three new songs. Drummer Aqiules Priester does a great workout and best song for me is always the solid "The gypsy meets the boy" and the titanic "The great misconception of me" See you all live!

Thanks for the video, gonna see them next month in Antwerp and Paris. I have noticed that the swear words in Chainsaw Charlie have been changed as expected, but he is now saying something different from what he used to say live. Even though it will never sound as awesome as the original, it still sounds better than what he used to say in previous concerts.

W.A.S.P. were an f'in wild band back in the 1980's - I saw them open for Iron Maiden in 1985 for the World Slavery Tour in Dallas Texas and they were young and on fire back then. Blackie's head looked like it was on a pivot back then.

Adored WASP for 33 years, they are tighter now than ever before. Crimson isn't my favourite album but the re-released version is superb, especially the new songs (£7.99 to download on Amazon). Seeing them for the 6th time in 2 weeks and I can't wait!!! Blackie sounds better than ever, the drums have a heavier edge to them and Doug rocks.

I simply don't understand those bad comments about the guitarist. I think Doug Blair is just incredible. The 3 of them - Mike, Blackie, Doug - are great. As for the new drummer, I'm not a specialist but he sounds pretty good. What band was he in before WASP?
@mustakettu85
@mustakettu85 7 жыл бұрын
Angra, apparently. Weird, first Megadeth gets an Angra guitarist, and now this. And yes, Doug is the best. These commenters forget he was in the lineup that actually toured when the Idol came out all those years ago.
