W.A.S.P. is the only band from the 80s who released their best material in the late 90s and beyond. Their last two records, 'Babylon' and 'Golgotha' are masterpieces.

I am pushing 50 years of age and I remember WASP as a youngster as a Hell driven Sexual Demon but it is so cool to see Blackie expand into more meaningful songs...check out the the song Golgotha he did awhile back if you havent already it is killer

My son committed suicide in 2018 . W A.S.P. song Miss You was one of the songs we had for his funeral. That song expresses a deep loss very well. Its like Blackie was singing the words we couldn't say!

I am so sad that I realize that so easily that I can see that a Civil War could happen today...it freaks me out...we need to stop and look at each other as fellow brothers and just fight the war on the debate table and reach a middle ground or the inevitable WILL happen because a divided house cannot stand for very long

@@WolfKain Okay so, quick story. I used to love horror movies then in HS I saw 'The Grudge' and for some reason it scarred me for life and I stopped. I'm 34 now, and a Christmas or two ago, KZbin auto-played their song and it was amazing. Turns out it's 'metalcore' (still not sure exactly what that means). Each of their songs on the last two CD's are about horror movies which sounds like it could be lame, but then again, most of Iron Maiden's songs are about history right? One of them is a poem verbatim! So I don't mind the music is about movies because it's just decent jams full of puns. So! I am actively trying to sell a piece of jewelry right now to rejoin patreon so I can make some Ice Nine Kills happen on discord. >D (I'm the one who made you the wolf and Sistah the guitar

Dude, I think that I saw you on tears… cool, but the reaction you made was about the movie, the song has a different intention, is about a soldier from Irak’s war who is almost dying and he was taking with St Peter about get into heaven…. God bless you!!! Greetings from Mexico 🇲🇽. The first band I saw live was WASP opening Iron Maiden with the world slavery tour 84-85….. didn’t know what I saw at that time, just two exceptional bands.

@@WolfKain 'Tonight the Heaven's are hung in black.' Blackie wrote the chorus from the POV of a soldier in Iraq that was dying and at the gates of Heaven. The verses are St. Peter telling him that because of all the wars, Heaven is full.

I thought the way you do at one time but honestly but its not make believe and maybe one day you will realize that. I never thought I would say something like that but what I have been thru the only explanations for things that have happened to me is there is a being watching over me and I know it. War is a very ugly thing and things that are seen cannot be unseen or forgotten. Its harrowing to see the violence that one human can do to another. WASP is so much more than metal the lyrics can be very deep. Blackie is a great songwriter and deserves high acclaim.

what is the name of the movie?
@Wolf-ln1ml7 ай бұрын
I'd love to know that as well... If I'm not mistaken, the wounded soldier who stumbles over the enemy one at that tree is played by a somewhat younger Daniel Brühl (this video is from 2018 anyway, so it can't be "Im Westen Nichts Neues" for example), and he hasn't played _that_ many roles like that, but even looking over the titles and summaries of potentially relavant movies on IMDB, I can't figure it out...
@omniaautnil9 ай бұрын
Dude, emotionally I understand you every bit when u listen to these metal masterpieces, also whet u said about solders on different sides. BUT, when u started going into details with UA-RU war... man, just stop and think about one thing. By "Putin idiots" u probably mean "brain-washed ppl by russian propaganda". Ok, that makes sense. But what about ukranian propaganda, or european propaganda? Do u really think that BBC or CNN mass media is telling u the clean truth no matter what??? Seriously, do u believe that? Read about cold war b/n US and USSR, and most importantly think, is it over for real (not on the paper). Both u and me were not witnesses of what really happens on the site for all these years, so we can only build our opinion on what we hear from news and what we get from the internet. And it's really really hard to find sometimes who's true and who's not. But when we claim smth, I think we shouldn't forget that not everything is simply black and white, especially when it comes to geopolitics.
@WolfKain9 ай бұрын
That's why I focus on the cost. Make no mistake, geopolitics is complex, but just like what's happening in Gaza, I don't think anyone has a right to commit war crimes. This is not self defense, this is murder. I don't care who's doing it and yes, America did it too and is now complicit with Israel as well. Things are getting out of hand and I fear for our future 😔
