@Adrian Nelson I'm fifty-five and retired. I've always tried to live by the advice of my grandfather, who told me when I was pretty young to listen to any, and every, piece of music that I could get my hands on...and, that I'd surprise myself with what I would end up liking. So, I like a wide array of stuff (Metal is my go-to though), from Folk and Bluegrass, to Rock, Metal, Rap, Hip-Hop, and most everything in between. Although, I think humankind is paying some sort of penance or misdeed for all of us to be cursed with this "Mumble Crap" stuff lol. That junk is horrid. Music in general right now is pretty stale, and in dire need of a swift kick in the ass from the next Metallica, Megadeth, NWA, Guns n Roses, Rage Against the Machine, Public Enemy...or something. The swill that the recording industry, and the artists as well, has been ripping off we music fans with for the last fifteen-twenty years is awful. I know that I'm generalizing here, but that's just for the sake of explaining what I'm saying. There's absolutely talent out there, but it's not being allowed to foster in favor of the next "flavor of the week." There's new/newer material out there that I like...and, some is excellent. But, on the whole, music is pretty shtty right now.

@@jakerandall8983 Well, Motley Crue was bad ass by the second album and I had hoped they would have stayed the course because SATD was and still is a great album. Then we got Theatre Of Pain. And painful it was to see them going full glam and the music going saccharin sweet for the masses. Selling out to the almighty $. And it worked for them. Great. Good for them. Got them lots of poontang. More so than before probably. They gathered the non-metal fans to their liking and made a fortune off pop rock/metal. A Metallica move to a lesser extent and first to be exact. I just find it hard to believe that people liked them live. This being my all time gauge of a great band. Can they pull it off live? While the rest of the band could play and were talented, Vince Neil couldn't ever sing his way out of a paper bag in a live setting. kzbin.info/www/bejne/roKWn4Rof6mfb9U - This has got to be his worst but it's not far off. The studio and producer were his best friends so to speak. The US festival in 1983 was the kicker for me. I was there. My first gig. With that being said, I think Nikki and Tommy would have fit nicely in W.A.S.P. Not to belittle Randy Piper at all....but think about it...... Lawless, Holmes, Sixx and Lee.

The same. I and my three siblings were all total metal-heads as kids. And to think that Nirvana (who are also amazing) came to displace this kind of heavy rock because it was considered overly decadent and theatrical.
