Wasp are pure class Doug Blair is as good a guitarist I’ve ever seen , probably the best , that includes Van Halen , the whole band is underrated because they choose intimate venues and engage with the fans

I feel bad that I don't know everyone in the bands name. Just it's always been Blackie to me. The band is unbelievable to me, but his guitarist doesn't misss a single note. I'm not insinuating Bob Kulick was the greatest ever but I've read interviews of how hard he was pushed to deliver not just the skill, but the emotion necessary. Crimson Idol is one of my favorite albums ever and I don't really want to hear embellishments. The guitarist is astonishing. Literally one of my favorite players and I don't even know his name as I post this. This specific album should have been heard more. I wasn't WASP fan until Headless, and even that was just okay to me. This effing thing is a masterpiece. As is much of what he's written after it. For anyone with a snarky response, music is an ears thing to me. It always has been and age shouldn't matter. The music moves me. Show is great too, but I want to hear the songs delivered well, and this hits that in spades.

Yeah - nobody gave a shit about wasp until the crimson idol - even then it took years for peeps to recognize them as the awesomeness they are - except maybe some of their new albums that are confusing a fuck
