My parents did long-distance for a whole two decades - my mother in New Zealand with us three, and dad working in Taiwan. Now that we've all grown up, mum is back with dad in Taiwan. My siblings are now based in Australia and I'm based in Auckland. All families are different. Financial situations always makes things a bit more complicated. 🙂Thanks for this lovely video Christina. I imagine it might be a similar experience once my husband and I start our own little family. Culture shock is real and daunting for everyone.
I fully respect cross-cultural marriage as I am experiencing one. Dedicating to Papa Huang and Mama Kim for their sacrifice and resilience during the years. The outsiders will never know the nuance and the beauty of this 緣分. Go Boston and Go Taiwan.
不過真的謝謝 christina 分享. as i tell my parents, we are just a flight away. still, it is blessed if family members can stay together.
The most important thing is that everyone of you has been supportive for each other with love, caring and understanding. Good luck to you all! 🍀👍

Oh! Your Mom is 歐陽珊. I remembered her. She was the very famous artist when I was young. Tell your mom that I did appreciate the happiness she brought to me and thanks for your mom’s recognition and inclusion to stay in the treasure Island.
