A Well wisher of 🇪🇹 unity in Diversity. Everyone agrees it is internal matter of Ethiopia yet someting appears to have gone wrong by attaking Tigray with 97 % madate of its people. This confidence of people of Tigray if taken before an attack by ballot then it is legitimate. I ts too early to rejoice. This celebration can have an icing on cake if it was won after an election and mandate of people. Present jubilation creating irreversible position of both. Wisdom is to digest action in silence TPLF have 97% mandate of Tigray so UN EU and AU may label this act of win as war criminality in absence of Mandate without an election. MDEMER can never be REPLACED by MASSACRE. Dr. Abiye attracted all peace loving by Medemer and preaching and practice by top man should be same to grow faith and trust be it politics business or life. Mahatma Gandhi or Nelson Mendela or Martin Luther King or Julis Nerere of Tanzania never changed their path amdist such challenges. The TPLF cliaims it has won an election organized by itself, not by an independent entity, and claimed to have a mandate. Many, including Abiy's government, disagree with that but that is fine. Regardless of having mandate or not, the Ethiopian government did not start the current war in order to impose it's wish. A while back Abiy actually tried to evacuate its troops from Tigray, but the TPLF prevented it by using civilians to block the road. Then, a few weeks ago, TPLF conducted a surprise attack againist the Ethiopian troops stationed in Tigray and seized weapons, including tanks and long range tickets. TPLF did not deny this. So, the Ethiopian government responded militarily. What else do you expect Abiy to do? It was an existential threat.
