The storyline is well-done as a typical hooligan slowly in-love with a girl-next-door lady. The DP has done a very good job in selecting and executing the shots. For the separation part of the conversation can be done much stronger. Janice has very good strong facial expression; the rolling of eyes and poker-faced. Yi Chao suits the role as a Chinese-speaking AhBeng, and I like how he tries to comprehend a person different from his world; circle of friends, subtly. Surprisingly the both parties room are separated by the stairway, yet she wanted to knock against the wall in her room. Benjamin was missing in the latter shot, when his friends found out that he is dating Catherine. Yet Aaron was inside. It will be good if the placements is exchange, so that it links with the initial shots of the playing cards sequence. It's good that you also placed the camera for both parties separately, Catherine on the left and Jason on the right, on their leading shots. Interestingly I'm curious about this bus-stop that is being chosen and shot. The seats are both facing each other, different from any other bus-stops in Singapore. Nicely done on the DP, Producer, and Editor side.
