Hello, I just wanted to kindly reply to your comment. The truth is that Louis Farrakhan is not preaching orthodox Islam. According to Islamic doctrine, NOI members are not Muslims because of several things. For example, believing that there is a Messenger after Prophet Muhammad(peace be upon him) eliminates you from the fold of Islam. Believing that God came down to Earth(in the form of W.D Fard or any one else) only takes you out of the fold of Islam. Warith Deen Muhammad(may Allah have mercy on him) was a true follower of Islam. The Imam has his "right" hand on his dad. And is hold the "Quran" in his left hand! Watching this video is why i'm an Anti Theist. As a former practicing Muslim, this validates my suspicion as a young child that Religion can be manipulated by Human beings because it was created by Human Beings. Wow! What or who convinced him not to waver? I believe it stemmed from both his encounter with Christ (Acts 9) and also his confidence in the Holy Scriptures (2nd Timothy 3:15, 16). An encounter with the Living Christ/confidence in the Scriptures that confirm who He Jesus was and is, the Son of God, should leave no doubt in one's heart and mind. Hence the gospel accounts "we have found HIM, in whom Moses in the law and the prophets did write...Jesus" (John 1:45).

I believe that Fard realized that traditional Islam during that juncture in the African American experience wouldn't have hit home. Or galvanized the masses in the way the NOI doctrine would.
