What is your fave hotel in KL? Is it very hot there? Do you put A/C on or just open the windows?

KL is same weather as Singapore - average 25 Celsius all year round, bit humid. Best is to have the A/C on all the time, I had the balcony door open all the time too. Fave hotel Four Seasons...

Cool, so you'll have had Petronas Towers views... nice. Four Seasons Bangkok, started taking bookings March onwards... booked a stay there early April - the rooms hardly have balconies - MO, Peninsula, Shangri La on the River all have balconies - reckon FS missed a trick...

April is too hot for me here, I'll be heading for cherry blossom in Japan and Korea during that time and catch an Alaska Cruise in May. Bangkok has no more pure drinking water, it's salt water infused now which is horrible for showering etc.

Travelling lots - Alaska Cruise sounds nice. I'm going to Japan February - visit Kyoto during Olympics year there. Hot is good for me April time, plan to check out the new Rosewood at Phuket and then to Bangkok for the Four Seasons
