Orin Herndon HAHAHA, that's so brilliant! Yeah, the HD598 deliver a much more 'crisp' piano sound. If I turn on enough sustain/sympathetic resonance in the piano and reverb/delay effect, playing feels amazingly good with these phones! Like playing on a Steinway Concert D in the Royal Albert Hall or something lol. I wonder how the HD800 would sound.. ;p Thanks for your comment!!

This video should totally be titled "Goodbye 555's, Hello 598's.” I can hear the melancholy 555's - coiled up and cast aside - pleading to you from the arm of the couch for “just one more performance, for old time’s sake.” And then the 598's in response - slightly pretentious, but undeniably elegant - touting burl wood accents and a slightly longer cord, “you had your moment.”
