Hi Arthur and Austin, I have two subjects I would like you guys to discuss: (1) Why don’t American guys show any interest in the metric system and Celsius? Even the international Airports and other facilities that welcome overseas visitors show everything in yard-pound and Fahrenheit that do not help non-Americans. It would be much kinder to indicate everything both. (2) Are there many Americans who are interested in learning foreign languages? As long as I’ve observed, American people keep speaking English only even in the countries where English is not spoken as the national language. But those Americans often complain “Why don’t people here speak English”? I know Arthur is good at Japanese, but I feel it’s unfair that we Japanese often feel sorry for not speaking English.

when i heard the earthquake alarm from the whole town in the middle of the night, that was so scary. Many families were sleeping with their windows open because it was a hot summer nihgt

I also feel scary. It is too scary that I thought "Are they doing this as a joke!?"
i agree with you guys. announcements are convenient for some people or safety but problem in Japan is too much. some announcements such kind of 右へ曲がります of delivering cars. no need it.
