Don't make yourself looking like a loser, please.
I cried when the mom cried......At first I thought the mom was very positive about parenting and life in general from the first episode ..and that it would be nice to have lots of siblings.. But seeing how age 0 to 21 yrs old cramped up in a small house.. I couldn't help but wonder how the children & teens could deal with the noise within the house when they try to do their homework especially when the younger siblings play / cry etc. I live in an apartment with my parents and younger brother..and I can't stand them when they talk loudly when Im trying to work even when my door is closed! When the director asked the young girl about her thoughts on China....her answers shocked me. The parents didn't teach her? How could this happen. That's very sad... I see a lot of young people who were born overseas to immigrants who struggle with their identities. They tried to blend in with the society growing up and only started to embrace the traditions/culture of where the parents originated from as adults. I hope the kids of this family could one day visit China and embrace Chinese culture...even a short trip to a big city would do.
Thank you for showing reality of Japan. Hope Japanese could watch it and think of how to treat immigrants well. Worth to translate the video to Japanese 🙏

I had a friend (with whom I lost contact now) who was living in Japan. Her mom went to Japan to visit her family. They took her mom to Supermarket but asked her mom not to follow them because they don't want the nearby people find out that they were not Japanese. My friend eventually became a Japanese citizen (some 20+ years go) but she told me that she was not happen because she had to change her name to a Japanese name on her legal papers. Sad. Shocking. Upsetting!

@@pandabearoceanpark hard to imagine, sounds like stories from last century, in rural area of course, pathetic. My cousins grown up in Japan, they never complained about any school bullying, they dated Japanese school mates, enjoyed being popular. I guess it is more about personality, and social skills

I agree, it’s almost definite that there’s a child who will always outshines the others usually in families this big, other will perhaps follow his foot step later on.
Very disappointing and sad to see a Chinese family whose kids do not want to converse in Chinese at home. I blame this on the parents? Unless they have become Japanese citizens and adopted japanese names, they couldn't hide their identity in schools or in public. They are ashamed to be Chinese not strong enough to face public scrunity. Stand up for your dignity.
You people are ridiculous. No one forces anyone to flee their country they do it for many reasons on their own. You people act like the world doesn't see how the CCP treats it's people and then act surprise when diaspora aren't "Chinese" enough for you! Crying and trying to act like it's an inferiority situation is absurd, CCP has driven too much nationalism and that has turned many people off so don't be surprised why the negative perception has gone up! If you want just positivity news on china go to china's internet and watch CCTV and Weibo. Why be on KZbin?
