Couldn't believe Wes went to 東引,it took me 2 years in the military service over there nearly 30 years ago! This brings back bitter sweet memories to me, a lot had happened there! It has changed a lot, there were even no street lights at that time. You could also see the Blue Tear in 東引 as well! One thing I still remember was that I never got tired of the scenery even seeing it everyday for 2 years! Glad you enjoy your journey there!

因為, 如果待在同溫層, 就無法see out of the box. 身為去過馬祖自由行的學姊, 馬祖超讚!
My first visit to Matsu was end of March 2023. We spent 9 days there. Visited almost all attractions except 東引。it was a trip to remember. Beautiful places and great food. Will definitely go back again. And yes 山海一家is wonderful. We stayed there for two nights. And boy oh boy, food in the restaurant was amazing! Would just go back there for the food. 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
OMG this is beautiful. As a Taiwanese, i also have not been to Matsui. I'll definitely try in the future - thank you for introducing our beautiful homepand to us. Great job Wes!!!
Lol, I just got a Taiwanese VERBO advertisement 😅 love it... good video Wes!

Kinmen and Matsu are ROC-controlled territories, two counties that are part of the nominal Fuchien Province. They consider themselves Chinese, not Taiwanese. Matsu Islands speak the Fuzhou dialect, which is an Eastern Min. What we now refer to as Chinese is actually Mandarin.
