@DjMaidenV Thanks for the comments on these recent mixes! I gotta say that your spring break mixing madness got me inspired to push out some mixes of my own. Haha. As much as I'd like to take credit for what little skill I have in mixing, it's really lame since I'm just using a controller with software to mix and don't even have real decks (not yet, anyway) Just gotta work with what you have and make the best of it.

*stares at background image* Ummm...oh yeah, right, the mix. I only have a passing knowledge on fidget and electro and dubstep and all those, but I do know that I liked almost all of these tunes. Real impressed by how you managed that tempo change between 15 and 16 (I assume; DnB has a higher tempo than dubstep after all). Anyway, you really have genre versatility on your side as a DJ. Now if you'll excuse me I need to go find more Soniko pics for...uh...personal use.

@qgag Haha. Thanks for the kinds words. :) The dubstep portion of the mix is far from clean and maybe the artists were a bit too mainstream, so that 1 dislike is respectable.

@DjMaidenV Yeah, I guess that's true. I just wanted to learn the classic way (seems like I have a complex of some sort haha) Software's definitely convenient though, but my controller is pretty weak and I'd rather just save up for decks if I'm going to dish out enough money to buy something like the Traktor S4. And Pioneer gear is just sexy to look at. Haha

@tehmurr Nothing wrong with using software. My most recent two mixes were made with Virtual DJ and my CDJs being little more than just controllers. If you have a good controller, the only benefit of real decks is it looks good on your resumé if you're trying to get hired.
