A very interesting story telling all the survival skills and hardship of our ancestors landing on a foreign land under a tough environments . Life was filled with uncertainties due to the threat of the communists at that point of time. I share the equal sentiments as I was born in the 1950's facing the same scenario in the 1960-1970's. I am too a Foochow residing in Sarawak and my father came from China during 1920's..

I was born in Sitiawan and attend Chung Cheng Primary School there. After that I studied in Nan Hwa SMJK before I left Sitiawan to pursue my form six in Penang. It was a very pleasant and happy life in Sitiawan in those days as we are so carefree even though we may be poor. Sitiawan is a small town, but it produces the most ministers in the cabinet.

我外公就出生在三条路的兴化人,比福州人还更少。我听说三条路开发兴化人也有贡献。
