She didn’t break up w him 8 yrs ago only bc what her grandfather said but bc she knew he give up going to US to study to be w her. She is been working hard to get to UN I don’t believe he knows this so she’s rejecting him bc I believe this time it be harder for her to leave him if they’d get back together.

I don't know how many episodes there are, but it is very slow.........it seems to be dragging and I am beginning to get bored with this drama. It is a pity as I think Victoria is a good actress, but here she is a bit miserable and dull. A shame as I love her other dramas.

Total 36 episodes. In my opinion, Victoria's character is a little stubborn and strong because of her family background which will be told slowly in the drama. So it takes patience to see the FL character ❤

Thank God there is Peter in this episode. Peter is the fresh air in this adultery world drama. At least Peter's appearance make Xiao's fatherhood side shows although only in a few seconds scene. Xiao's character that always chase his first love crazily is really really boring. How can the scriptwriter build his character like that?

@@suhongpan5459 Oh okay, I heard her call her grandmother. So when the grandmother said that he was the grandson of her younger sister, I thought they were related. So she must call her grandmother out of respect, I guess. Well now it gets better cuz he really is a love rival. EXCEPT, as a grown woman she knows what the kid is doing and she should shut him down real quick. I guess I will see. ha

In china, any elders we would call grandma and grandpa and for younger ones would be aunty uncle brother sister. Its just mannerism and greeting not necessarily by blood relation @@cristyrawks6325

Me supongo que en algunos colegios allá no tienen esa política. El verdadero problema de esa escena es que lo lógico es inmediatamente mandar un mensaje de texto a la mamá avisando que lo está recogiendo. Ni siquiera es necesario llamarla para interrumpir su supuesta reunión importante. La hace ver un poco tonta a la prota.

@@angelaliyanda2565 and it doesn't irritate you?? it's the same in every drama :( no discussion, no explanation :( the main character hides some information from partner and in the name of what he (she) considers to be his (her) partner good, breaks up with him without giving a reason. he (she) breaks up simply because it's his (her) whim. it is idiotic, it also means that he (she) treats his (her) partner as an immature person with whom it is better not to talk. Why solve the problem together if you can sweep it under the carpet. This is just harming the other person. How do you imagine life in the future? Will you hide every problem from your partner? You will never solve life crises together with him. This is not even selfishness, but total stupidity.

Still on going and of the 36 episodes, this is only episode 9. Of course there is still a long way to go. And I think it's because the plot of the story doesn't directly tell you about the reasons why FL broke up with ML. So it makes FL seem selfish and always angry. Also because the discussion about FL's family is told slowly, it takes patience to see FL's character. 😅

@@elenidelli3707i think you've got some misunderstanding. The FL is not selfish, the underlying reason why she broke up with him was because she got accepted in the china school however her bf got accepted into a foreign school but he said wherever she is he'll be so if he had known shes gonna be at the school in china he would've rejected that school offer and stayed in china too. That's why she didnt tell him anything and also broke up with him so she don't impede his future. I would say so far her wrong would be she should have told him and they discuss and decide it together instead of just deciding for both of them by herself.
