I think it's not really a "scholarship" maybe a translation thing...maybe it's more like a fellowship or endowment or a partnership type thing, based on their experience and also marketing the hospital that seems like a specialty hospital for Orthopedics. In that case I could see that type of "popularity" contest

I don’t think Yak is necessarily attracted to her (can’t remember the name of the character); it’s more that she has the life he wishes he had: that of a regular university student. Being around her enables him to be closer to that life where he’s freer.

I get what you’re saying but I do think there is something there. He does like her and she knows it too…she even told him that she knows what he’s going to say in the first episode and that she thinks their friendship is fine the way it is meaning he has expressed wanting something more before.

I love how many things are different in this BL. This BL isn't pushing any kind of traditional gender norms. The characters know there sexuailty and discuss what they want to do in bed openly. Casual "realtions" are absolutely something that happens but this is also addresesing the aftermathing when one person catches feelings. These two have fully realized lifes outside of their relationship. this is a romcom and I love romcoms. They don't need to be complex. There is a template to what makes a romcom great. I am excited to see more adult BLs that are fun and thoughtful at the same time.

I do think Yak has liked Taem long term, and also does want a normal life like her, maybe in some way cause it'll mean he could be with her. But I do think he's starting to like Wandee as well because in many ways they do relate to each other. They're both basically emotionally pretty much on their own, and part of extremely competitive fields. I think Yak relates to Dee's loneliness, but also the sincerity of his feelings for Ter because that's how he feels about Taem. I think they're both empathetic, sincere individuals trying to find meaning in their personal lives, while pretending that a casual relationship to this calibre is something they can both handle even though they seem to be very monogamous individuals. The affection that Dee craves, and Yak wants to give is very compatible, and is likely the reason they're going to be able to fill out the loneliness they experience individually. I appreciate that the director made the decision to make Taem a woman, I think a part of the bisexual representation here is that it shouldn't be necessary for Yak to have to explain being into a girl and a guy at overlapping times. Like to me, if Wandee was the one initially showing more affection for Yak despite stating he likes P'Ter, less people would have questioned the legitimacy of him being attracted towards more than one person.

This is just a thought I had…😅 Is wrong of me to hope that for once and in this drama the grandmother would stay alive till end….🥹 Cause Doctor Wandee’s both parents are already dead and well I don’t know maybe I just feel like Wandee has been through pain/has trauma enough already with the loss of his parents 🥺 I really liked Wandee’s grandmother 💕 but I have seen enough of BL dramas and ect to know that the grandparent characters staying alive, truly is something you cannot bet on. So maybe the best thing is not to get attach to the character

This show is more about creating a bl ship between the two lead actors, who have proven they can act in previous shows. Great was in Manner of Death and did an excellent job playing a police inspector. In was in The Miracle of Teddy Bear, and also did an excellent job. This show is basically to see if these two have any chemistry and can be paired together for better projects in the future. 🤗

I'm really interested in the possibility of a true bi-awakening tale and not just "gay for you" type story. Bi-representation doesn't happen enough in BLs. I get the feeling that this is Yak's first true thing for a guy. Can't wait to see how it all progresses. I'm enjoying it so far.

Yak seems obviously bi but his confidence in the first episode when he gave the countdown ultimatum and the 'people are usually scared of it' doesn't make me feel like he's questioning.

I don't think Dee likes Yak or Ter at the moment though but I can't tell what's going in Yak's head romantically - but I'm guessing he's using intimacy with Dee to get over the girl.
