I am uncomfortable with some of the Chinese copies, but am a fan of PenBBS, which began as a group of fans. They try different nibs and inks too. I quite like the Wingsun 601, which Parker sort of licensed decades ago. Better than new Parkers. I am curious and ordered the new Asvine J16. Titanium with JoWo nib. There are many different kinds of Chinese pens. There are some good ones and some not so good ones. I noticed in this comment section that pens made in China tend to be lumped together, and that Japanese fountain pen fans tend to avoid them quite a bit. I'll check out the channel you suggested!

@ Doug does good research and is a bit of a comedian with clips from old tv. I think he used to be a theater professor in Canada. kzbin.info/www/bejne/l6qrm6Ztpc6cb9kfeature=shared

If you want a sturdy inexpensive Chinese pen, try the Jinhao 911. It’s under $5, so don’t expect Pilot smoothness, but it is a solid steel good EDC pen. I gave many to my students to get them started with fountain pens. Nice Parker style hooded nib.

Other viewers also recommended the pen. When more than one person said it was good, I felt it was true.
