Nice. I quite like the Procyon although I always confuse the name. Mine is the same if yours. Good EDC. Speaking of Platinum, I got an Izumo tsmenuri finally. It is so beautiful although I like the 3776 nib more than the President nib on the Izumo. I imagine one can’t swap them. Zannendede. Have a good Oshogatsu

"#3776" is, of course, amazing, and I really like it, but I equally love the NIB of the "President." It's hard to choose between them.

@ maybe I just need mine tuned or I need to get used to the different vibe. I imagine it is better for kanji writing.
Conklin has some nice vintage designs but I often hear issues with the nib needing some extra nib grinding. I bought an All American with a stub in a beautiful tortoise shell look, but haven’t used it much. It just doesn’t write as well as I hoped. Sorry I can’t be more enthusiastic. Of course you might have a better experience.

@ check out this engineer’s review of pens he had problems with around 20 min into the video. kzbin.info/www/bejne/qWiXdGN5fbyCh5Ifeature=shared Conklin was an old company, but reborn and making new pens.

@@AndrewWertheimer I was in the middle of editing a new video about "Pens I Regretted Buying in 2024," so I thought you might be reading my mind.
