無綫台慶聚集無綫精英分組表演各項環節，例如歌舞及趣劇等表演，競逐「萬千星輝大獎」。無綫主席邵逸夫通常會由應屆香港小姐陪同欣賞台慶節目，利孝和夫人則會在節目尾聲切蛋糕與祝酒。由於無綫台慶與邵逸夫生日為同一天，所以在邵逸夫在生時無綫台慶同時亦為其賀壽。

1998 I was 15 years old. I remember I had to go down to the TVB video shop dealer 3 times a week to rent a video tape or 2 and sometimes everyday to check out the latest episode if we were eagerly to watch a particular tv series at the time. Although it may sound inconvenient as compared to present days, those were the best life memories and the golden time of TVB..
