They practice the uchi mata one way and the he does it a complete diferent way.

Really? I think his uchimata is much more traditional than Onos

I had the same impression, during the training Maruyama hits the opposite leg with Uchi Mata, so the throw looks very similar to Hane Goshi. Instead during the fight he hits the other leg, like a "classic " Uchi Mata . I'm trying to learn both the throws, but they seems to me totally different, and the " classic uchi mata" is much much harder.
