Cheung Ying Choi will always be the finest actor especially in ancient sword fighting movies. Also his modern dramas and comedies are also superb. He will always be our family No.1 Cantonese actor.

This probably one of the most charming fight sequences I ever watched! Cheung Ying Choi is so serious and in contrast Yu So Chow is taking the whole situation so light heartedly. She smiles at him with such fun and confidence. You can see she is having a good time teasing him. Their exchange of swordplay is perfect flirtation on her part. She leads the chase and he follows her from rooftop from rooftop and from room to room. When they both go through the trapdoor and he threatens to kill her, she turns on the feminine charms until his face changes from anger to uncertainty to a smile - this was excellent acting by Cheung and Yu was seductive and enchanting at the same time. Sigh....

This was brilliant acting role of Yu Soo Chau. However, I did not understand what was written in the credit nor I did not know what was the title of this movie? Yu Soo Chau was the Queen of Martial arts of the 50s and 60s. You could see how she defended herself with her overall. Chong Yoke Choy was striking at her for many strokes with his sword yet she was untouchable at the beginning. Unfortunately, every old martial arts movie the actresses were losers! In the 50s and 60s. Only 2 female actresses had genuine kungfu fightig skills. Number one was Yu Soo Chau and no. 2 was Yam Yin. For the men category were Kuan Tek Hing, Sek Kin, Chow Tek Wah, Sek Yin Chee and Lum Kow.

It was a big shame that Ms Yu elected to pursuit her career in Cantonese movie. Had she stayed in the Mandarin set up after 1960 you could easily find her a winner in the Asian best actress awards
