w/ Romero and Pérez-Jara, Contemporary Materialism: Its Ontology and Epistemology (Synthese, 2022)

My co-editors and I present the book Contemporary Materialism: Its Ontology and Epistemology (Springer: Synthese, 2022) at the Universidad de Sevilla (22/07/22).
@gustavoestebanromero5053 is professor of physics and philosophy at Universidad de la Plata and head of the Argentine Institute of Radio Astronomy. Javier Pérez-Jara is assistant professor at Beijing Foreign Studies University and Faculty Felow at the Yale Center for Cultural Sociology.

Enhorabuena por el libro! Tengo una pregunta. Hay un sistema filosófico, el realismo crítico de Roy Bhaskar, que también se presenta como materialista y comparte inquietudes similares a las expuestas, sobre todo en ontología y teoría de la ciencia. ¿Tenéis pensado dialogar con dicho sistema? Seguro que enriquece el debate filosófico en el materialismo contemporáneo. Gracias de antemano.

Parece muy interesante el trabajo. Lo malo es que como muchas de estas publicaciones académicas es muy caro, no sé por qué, porque por intuición asumiría que al ser publicado por editoriales académicas se necesita menos dinero que en otros sitios no académicos, pero seguramente no sea tan simple, quiero pensar xD
