She is emotionally broken. Her strongest emotional support now is her father. Both her parents went back to Malaysia to take care of her sick grandfather. Having a sick family member is a very emotional experience. She wants to do well in this competition. The stress affected her performance. Nevertheless, she did remarkably well to be placed 3rd. After i watched the recent show, the obvious competitor for Shila is GEM. GEM has a very huge vocal range, she can hit high note easily, she can hold her note awesomely, a very good breathing technique, and she is a local. But again, if this competition is merely on audiences' votes, she really needs to win them. She has to play smart, sing from her heart fully, sing a song according to the notes, and give her own interpretation and full emotion feeling to the listeners. Dont struggle if the note to high but change to it to more emotional touch to it. A good singer is not just capable of reaching high note but the way she capture the impact to the audiences. I really hope Shila can stay to the Finale night.

After watching all her performances, i can observed that she only sang the songs she likes and sang with her emotions, while Gem only chose the song more suit to her and without much emotions as Shila showed. Kinda disappointed that why people likes Gem than Shila.
