我想先談一下念EE之後大概的可能工作(limited to IC design, specifically mixed signal design).Design engineer(at least you need to have a MS degree). AE, application engineer(undergraduate is ok), you are pretty much tied to bench work, and you will own the data sheet of products. TE (test engineer, undergraduate ok, you probably need to like coding C), writing codes to control the ATE machine. PE(product engineer), you own the logistic, scheduling resources, review tested data, FT, QA, reliability, HAST, HTOL, passing ESD…etc, so that the product can be released. System or concept engineers (at least MS, most of the time Ph.D). Marketing manager or general manager, the owner of products (the owner of cost center, 賺錢賠錢全算在你的頭上). 還有一點很重要,那就是培養自己的engineering sense, 而不再是 from science angle only. Math and physics are sciences. If you learn microelectronics, circuits, or EM waves from science angle, it will be a disaster because you don’t really learn engineering, but only learn how to solve toy problems. Perspective matters. I think I should stop here for now. Good luck and have fun in NTUEE.
because the course in high is too easy and simple, you can't feel the difficulty of this course, then when you enter the university, you can't handle this course and enjoy the beauty of this course.
