I can tell that you probably never had a street fight in your life, sifu's techniques is excellent, he's being very open and honest, I have respect for sifu and Thank him. I fought in the ring and on the street at my younger age and I can tell sifu is the real deal.

If you worship Chinese martial arts this much, then likely you have never been exposed to real boxing or BJJ or kickboxing or Muay Thai or sambo or any other martial arts. So don't bullshit Jasonwho and tell me you have fought in the ring, I can tell you have never fought in a real ring like the MMA or Thai boxing ring. You probably fought in some local Chinese tournament in HK for a little trophy where there were 3 people in your division and you came in third for a bronze medal. I know because I watch my kids grow up competing in these local baby tournaments for trophies. If you step into the real ring, you would last 10 seconds.

Ah,徐師伯公,有幸幾年前見過,個人幾隨和同歉厚 (師傅如是,徙弟們理應如是)。其實詠春的拳理巳教導了我等後學者去虛心研究和苦練;好師傅祗是引導學者而發揮他/她的潛能- '半由師傅半自我'嘛。人體的架構,如馬步同感覺運用得宜,基本上唔需要用好多力就可頂住很大的壓力(对手視覺上覺得你好似很輕鬆應付他的攻勢 and that worried him):但如果衝來的力量太大,就可用卸字訣。所有詠春拳理都糸一樣,大家都係來冶五梅師祖,每家都有其優点和缺点(說一家好,其他也不認同,可必呢!);互相交流先才有進步嘛! 不是每個師傅都很講述其技藝的, 以前學一年只系學得小念頭!

If you are talking about punches the following law of physics applies. F=Ma or F= MV if initial V is 0. If Sifu Xu(Tsui) give the opponent a feeling of great force and he is skinny he would have to compensate by a faster velocity. But how much is he faster?

真打完全兩回事，一個詠春被西洋拳一拳打昏。不信可找實戰的試下，立即知道答案！講是很易，陳小旺與一八卦較量，(輕過他很多)，重過人很多，成身都肥粗過人最小三/四十磅，也佔不到甚麽便宜，贏不到對手，你肥大隻不一定贏，細小體重輕也不一定敗，理論贏哂講到你是這麼勁，那麼麽利害，也不一定真打贏，要贏一定要真打過。不然，像李小龍說 "陸地遊泳"，你永遠不懂甚麽是遊泳，意思是你永遠不懂甚麽是真打！
