‘Shocker’ is as much of a crossover tune as you can possibly have and it’s the meeting of three ridiculously talented minds - W&W’s electro-tinged festival rhythms and Headhunterz driving hardsyle beats are joined together with a crispy distorted vocal. It’s supported by heavyweights including Hardwell, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Nicky Romero and Blasterjaxx, among others.

I know that many people will hate (instead they should just be sad) headhunterz for this and i hope that he will still continue to produce some hardstyle tracks. From an electro/big room point of view though: This is an absolute masterpiece, headhunterz just quickly jumps into the scene and may change it as he did with hardstyle. The creativity on this is so much higher then I've heard in a long time from the bigroom/electro scene, also the hardstyle elements fit perfectly. Especially the second drop (if we hear more of these, maybe heady will introduce the climax/anticlimax theme to bigroom :D) got me excited for more!

Bingo dude! People are getting so caught up with how different this is from Headhunterz's old songs. But honestly, this is a beautiful blend of big room and hardstyle, EVEN THOUGH it is not the hardstyle that most people want. I love both Hardstyle and Big Room so this is jackpot for me. Well you probably will hear this track around the DEFQON QULT stage.. The change didn't start with Headhunterz. You got a lot of creative people who saw the potential combining the Hard Dance scene with the House one. It's just a matter of time until you will hear more and more "Subground'ish tracks" or tracks like Madness (masterpiece by the way) around Tomorrowland. Maybe even Hardstyle at times.. Tiesto & Hardwell already proved it.. Hardstyle at the Tomorrowland Mainstage works.. and how it works!

MultiSpeedJumper I know this track sounds similar to heady, but w&w said a long time ago that they were finishing a solo hardstyle track at 132 bpm (this one is 132 bpm), and curiously, some weeks later the project was delayed, and at the same time they revealed that they were going to collab at two tracks with HHZ (instead of one). It sounds to me like they did WCTS together and Heady helped W&W a bit with Shocker. Apart from that, HHZ confirmed on an interview that W&W started Shocker.
