W600 Wiring: Solenoid Valves

I'm wiring these into a TACO ZVC, and I've heard that the reds go into ports 3 & 4. and yellow wires are power into ports 1&2. TACO says por 3&4 are for opening the valve and 1&2 are for power to the valve. So should one of each red wire in 1 & 3? or 2 & 4? or 1 &2? or 3&4. Do I just connect my grounds to the ground from the ZVC?
