Yes, you a very correct. The C-Sky arch is not ARM and they all are C-Sky. Crawling through all their docs made me miss that point. Thanks!

First I have seen of the W806. Interesting. With ESP's, STM32's, and now the Pi Pico with its dual cores, there is a high bar into gaining market in high-end MCU sector.

Yeah, If I was doing a main-line project, I would go for an RP2040 now. I think the W801 would possibly be a good IOT processor, especially if you needed a lot of IO.

RP2040 is the worst choice - has no fpu and very little memory. Why they use MX0 is beyond understanding

@@browaruspierogus2182 That is very true. It would not be a good choice for DSP or Encryption projects at all. It would be ok for IO-centric projects or general-purpose use. It has two cores and the PIO system would help it a lot in those areas. Based on the particular use, the ram may be a problem and make it not a good choice.

While searching for boards, I came across an Air105 which seemed to be billed as a STM32 replacement and is a Cortex M4.. seems to be F405 replacement. They have a transition guide for their “Air32F103” as well. Odd.

Yes, I had seen them and ordered and received two. I've not had a chance to test it yet, but I hope to try it soon. The one I got has a camera and a port for it. It seems like a large chip with a lot of GPIO's. Thanks for the info!
