Will Sutherland and Cameron Bancroft, both of them will play County Championship 2023. And Matt Short and Cameron Green will play IPL 2023 this season. It will be very good development of Australia next generation talents. Good little innings by Wylie though, before he will off to Newzealand

If not for the superb innings by Turner, you would feel bad for Sutherland. Some wonderful technical cricket was played. Everyone just needs to master attacking without being uppish and the use of feet to spinners. I do not like uber-modern play to excess, e.g. Warner or Lynn, but do feel Victoria were a tad too much the other way, i.e. circumspect; Chandrasinghe is a fine talent, but to echo commentators needs to rotate strike. Murphy has been a find. I would love to see Sutherland & Bancroft in Aussie colours, Turner also. Cheers & commiserations to WA & Vic: Sadly there has to be a loser, but from an Aussie perspective it is a win for all and sundry.

Very well said. I'm a Vic supporter, but not feeling too sad, as they've had their fair share of Shield success in recent times. I'm happy to see WA doing well, as they had to wait more than 20 years (prior to winning it last year). I'd love to see South Australia come right, as it's been a helluva long drought for them. They've had many rough seasons over the last 10 years... it was great to see them not get the wooden spoon this season... may they do even better next season.

Yes exactly right! When the WA cricketers were going through a bit of a rough patch a few years ago, the West Coast Eagles and the Perth Wildcats won flags. Now the Eagles & the Wildcats are struggling a little, but WA cricket is at its finest. You'll always see at least one WA team achieving big things each year. And I have no doubt the Eagles and the Wildcats will be back in no time.

Best home tournament although where's the natural live pitches. Cricket is not entertainment game as third class popularity as flat batting track t twenty. Cricket is a traditional and culture human civilization. Save cricket from third class supporter.
