I am sickened by the history of white greed and ashamed to be white myself. Great respect for the Anishinaabeg. If any of us are to survive, I believe we MUST learn humbly from the indigenous people of this land.

It's not a white thing. Spaniards preempted white arrival. Before that the Vikings and before them the Phoenicians. Those empires failed.

Bozho! My family originated with the St Joseph River Band Potawatomi. Moved to the reservation at St Mary’s, Kansas where my 2nd and great grandfathers were born and assimilated. In 1892, the signedfor allotments in what is now Corbell, OK. We still have a little of the allotment land. I do ceremony with the Mission Band Potawatomi here in OK where the elders went up North to learn and bring our culture back. Megwech.

It was to good to learn about the migration of Ojibwe people from the east to the seven places and were the food grows on water and how tragic of the Wisconsin death march to sandy lake when the Ojibwe couldn't even bury there dead, they wanted to remove the Ojibwe from Michigan and Wisconsin and move west of the river with various traeties that slowly took all there land with broken promises(treaty's)some of the payment didn't get paid until as late as the 1950's and how the reservations were to become in the states were Ojibwe, with promises of hunting and fishing rights on theses lands, the us government wanted to privatized all the land allot the land, this treaty's helped in the future to bring awareness of the hunting and fishing rights that were in the treaties, that brought well in the 1930's and beyond to Exercise these treaties rights.

Incredibly sad to see the real history of this country. I see parallels with what is going on right now with leaders who continue to lie in order to acquire more real estate.

Yes, it has been and is the history of the western nations. An interest of its leaders to conquer both other peoples and nature... It's is no wonder that they continue to destroy our natural world. ..... Thank you

We can't all be related there's the devil's children and there's God's children just because our blood is red when it comes out and blew in our bodies doesn't mean we're related in brothers and sisters there's the devil's children and there's God's children the devil's children go to hell and God's children go to heaven there is no ifs ands or buts about it the children of the devil are not my brothers and sisters only the children of God

I just don't understand why you guys treat these people like they're not god's creation. She says one thing out of line and all of a sudden her words are not justifiable to the extend that they are godless heathen's. Right!?!???
