Wabi-sabi ...maravilloso , la vida se ve con los ojos que la quieras ver, y es como tu la ves, verla con los ojos de Wabi-Sabi es relajante y maravillosamente bueno! Gracias.

To me, WS design is a creative way to engage with spiritual enlightenment in my living space, teaching me see, marvel and rest in my own imperfections and accept what I have along the journey of life as I grow 🌱✅

Hello Si. Thankyou so much for this video ,I had no idea there was even a word for my interior ideas that i have applied to my home. I love imperfection,I am the kinda person who collects dry brunches on the road side and put them on a vase ,I do alot of Diys in my house from broken items. My friends find me weird 😂😂😂...but from today I have confidence to know I roll with wabi- sabi spirit of decor.

I searched for modern Japanese home interior design and found your video. It is very interesting and inspirational. Thank you for sharing your knowledge and experience. What I liked very much in your advice is incorporating of rustic pieces or elements of the nature and gratitude for small details. I mean a little branch, a flower, a vase, a play of the light etc. I have to stay in a city, so it is important to appreciate natural and beautiful details in order to feel the atmosphere of nature in my home.

You're welcome Daniela. I'm so glad you found me here on KZbin!! I didn't expect that you could meet in person either. How amazing!

I see many examples of WS concept on KZbin that are applied to already gorgeous homes. I think they don't fully represent the spirit of WS. One can literally put a broken chair in an empty gorgeous architecture space and it becomes art. That's why I am happy that you mentioned the WS lifestyle in ordinary rental apartment, and the importance to appreciate what we already have. I can relate to that. Thank you so much and best wishes from Germany! 😀

Thank you so much for this video, today! The first time I’ve heard about this term and concept was last year, I instantly fell completely in love about it! Then I came to KZbin to search for some good videos about it. That’s how I gladly found your channel. Wabi-sabi, also, basically translates the essence of Human lives (this is what I like the most about it). We are all, forever, beings under construction and simultaneously in constant transformation. As we also are naturally mutable, breakable, inconstant, incomplete and imperfect. Yet there’s still perfection within it all, under such nature. Although I am keen to eclectic style I certainly will have a space, in my future house, (can be the garden) entirely dedicated to wabi-sabi lifestyle. Additionally, each room will surely have bits of wabi-sabi elements, apart from the people that will be living in it ✨🙏🏽🥰😍🌬🤍💛🧡❤️♥️🙏🏽✨

Oh, thanks so much for sharing your thoughts about wabi-sabi!! I totally agree with you. We, as human beings, are imperfectly perfect, and that's why I love the wabi-sabi philosophy and aesthetics. It encourages me to stay confidently as who I'm. I'd love to see your place that would be dedicated to the wabi-sabi lifestyle. 💓

Thank you for this video and for sharing other Wabi Sabi resources. I recently moved back in with my BF and we have different style preferences, but I think Wabi Sabi might be a great middle ground for us in terms of aesthetics. Plus, we live in the city where noise levels and air quality isn't the best. I think utilizing the Wabi Sabi concept in our home as much as possible will help alleviate the effects of living in an urban environment. I enjoyed your other videos, also!

Thank you for a very well done wabi sabi video, the best I have seen so far! 💗 I have loved this style for years (before I learned it had a name), though I struggle to eliminate clutter from my small home. What I love the most is the connection to nature🌿with organic materials, simplicity and beauty. I love earthy colors, textures and imperfect handmade objects. I subscribed to your channel because of this.😊 Found it just searching "interior design".

This is the clearest and most thorough presentation I've seen of Wabi-Sabi decor, and I appreciate your soft-spoken style, too. But I'd prefer to see more photos, and for longer, and less of the person talking. Also, some bullet lists and key points in text (like what you have in the description) could appear on screen. That would help viewers follow the flow and retain the info.

Randomly found you while searching for Tiki bar / decor inspiration 🤷♀️😋& it was surprisingly hard to find! Im making over my garage at home and there’s an area i think it’d be fun to turn into a mini bar situation with a tiki flare bc i just want to add some fun touches- & i actually just saw an episode of Amazing Interiors- the very last episode of the season ‘greenhouse/ skatepark/ tiki lounge’ ? And the tiki lounge/sunroom they made was amazing! So beautiful! Its too easy to find tiki bars that go really cheesy, or “costumey” would be the word if it were an outfit- but they showed that it can actually be really beautiful, so I just would love more inspiration for that! I think the textures and layers can be beautiful, natural materials, bamboo/ rattan.... ornate lanterns... palm fronds... darker moody accent colors... I have a small space so I have to keep it simple, but I would love to add just a few fun touches 🤗😉🏝⛱🐡🍹🧉🧜♀️

I just discovered your channel and I'm loving it and the idea of creating a wabi-sabi style home. Later this year I will be moving and I would like to know more about the paint that you use on the wall. I had a very difficult time understanding the word that you used for the type of paint and also if you can add a subtle interest to the wall when painting is it a limewash paint? Please contact me as I'm extremely interested in Discovery more about having the mood and and movement ever-so-slightly on the painted walls. Thank you
