Part 4: • Wack100 on Kendrick Gr...
Part 1: • Wack100 on Why Kendric...
--------
Wack100 stated that despite Drake's fame and seniority, it's Kendrick Lamar who now reigns as the King of Hip-Hop. Wack100 nostalgically recalled how Kendrick opened for Drake in the early stage of his career, yet he now surpasses Drake on Spotify charts. He countered arguments surrounding Drake's cultural authenticity, defending Drake against criticism for his use of the N-word, and emphasized the rapper's Black heritage. Additionally, Wack100 expressed disapproval of the tendency to racialize genres and discussions revolving around Drake's Jewish upbringing. The manager emphasized the various facets and influences within Hip-Hop, pushing back against racial exclusivity within the genre, citing the Beastie Boys, Eminem, and Fat Joe as Hip-Hop artists from diverse backgrounds. He further suggested respect as essential to Hip-Hop.

Man social media really showed how bad be people are at reading and listening comprehension. Kendrick wasn’t question Drake being black. He was saying all that stuff because he felt like Drake wasn’t being genuine to hisself or the culture. He was mocking him for cosplaying

@@alive2583dude, Drake literally has songs where he's talking about guns and has gang members in the videos. It's whatever makes some money. The only reason why he doesn't do it more is cuz it doesn't make any money. That's the problem is that he sees no issue in talking about guns as long as it makes a catchy song

Nice try with the cosplaying crap you can go sell that to the UNEDUCATED, I can assure you if Drake complexion was that of Wesley Snipes they would be zero talks in questioning that artist space in the Culture, Which is just a ridiculous TAKE to begin with since MUSIC is UNIVERSAL, and you have a lot of American rappers/Artist sampling and biting from OTHER CULTURES if we are keeping it 100. For example, 21 savage, the Legend Slick Rick along with Monie Love among others were BORN in the UNITED KINGDOM yet were never questioned in the culture.

Wack is missing the point of what Kendrick is saying which is Drake is around for the good things that happen to culture, but is non existent for the bad things that happen. Drake doesnt speak up or stand up for the civil rights of the culture that he dominates. His life is pretty well documented. I mean all Kendrick is saying is why you act like that if you didn't grow up like that? It's cringe worthy but you make us dance so it really not that big of a deal. Oh but you want smoke? Ok, well now all that cringe worthy stuff you do. I'ma compare it to being a colonizer.

@@JarvisArson anyone can be the face when doing something to get highlighted, and given Drake's status in the game, he became most probable on the chopping block. But if you want reasons, here are a few: - Emulates styles that aren't his - Emulates accents that aren't his (including disrespecting his own Toronto slang when around white people, only to then use it years later for benefit) - Acquired 2Pac's ring, G-Unit spinning chain, & Pharrell's jewelry like a colonizer would with foreign emblems - Does nothing to uplift the culture he created his identity from, just affiliates when it gets his status up - Disrespects pioneers of the game like Mos Def when all he said was that Drake makes pop music - Was gonna create an Aaliyah album without including any of her original labelmates/fam to work on her unmastered material - Was self proclaimed leader of the new school of hip-hop, until outed for having writers, & switched to king of the billboards - Claimed there are "rules" to rap battles when Pusha mentioned 40's sickness, but took jabs at Cudi's mental health - The only "rapper" called out in Kendrick's Control verse that took it so personal, he bitched & whined about Kendrick in an interview, only to demand that they don't air it. And a couple more I can't think of off head. Individually they may look like isolated incidents, but when wrapped up together, creates a total package.

He's right. No one has to "talk" about black issues. Why so many black Americans have this obsession with victim mentality and oppression is weird.

Some of these Clowns from the WEST COAST are doing too much and quite frankly need to just stop!! Winning a perceived ROAST OFF doesn't make you king of anything muchless Hip Hop, if that were the case then Little Kenny would have been going up against Pusha T if that narrative was true. But that's not the reality since Drake is Still on the Throne enjoying his 400.000.000 Plus Contract something Little Kenny can only dream about, When Drake drops his album it will go and be number one on the Billboards yet again. All this was Much Ado About Nothing.

Vlad, even tho I’m glad They Not Like Us went #1 & I dig it fsfs. However, listening to it with studio like headphones 🎧 I could tell it needed a better mix & master 👀 they most likely was just in a hurry to get it out I’m assuming? Overall I still have it on repeat 💯
