It's sad to see how almost no one gets excited about such amazing bands that are the foundation of metal. The Wacken crowd is getting more and more poser every day. It feels more like a mall than a music festival

@@bastian2890 It's like that everywhere. The energy we had at 20 is gone by 50, and by 60 certainly. Very few people over 50 can still mosh like when we were 20. I still can but most cannot and don't. Everyone just stands there now in awe of seeing these great bands. People still appreciate it but the pit is gone for the most part. And yeah, lots of new woke posers infecting metal now.

Man this was awesome! I have always said Alex Skolnick IS THE BEST Metal lead guitar player of all time. His solo here was just flawless and memorable...al his solos are perfect and full of emotion

Alex Skolnick and Josh Christian (Toxik) are definitely in a league of their own regarding thrash lead guitars, same level as Jeff Loomis. Alex is my favourite, but Josh kinda gives me the same super-shreddy vibe while still having a good melodic sense and phrasing. Just check out "Machine Dream" (3:04), "Door To Hell" (1:47) or "Shotgun Logic" (3:12)
