Wade Fishing Galveston for BIG SPECKLED TROUT!

It’s late august and it’s been extremely hot lately so we decided to cool off by jumping in the water and doing some early morning Wade fishing! We threw live bait, artificial lures, and fresh dead finger mullet for big speckled trout in Galveston bay!

One of my absolute fav fishing spots since the early 90's.........can't tell you how many huge trout I've taken there during those years up til '07 when I left. Glad to see it pretty much looking the same. I wonder if the same "purple house" is still around *lol*

You live on the island? I've been wanting to get some input from someone living on the island, but have you ever fished down 8 mile road before? is that place by chance still closed off from fishing? My family and I fished there for years, and it was closed off because of a neighborhood being developed down that way.
