Okay three things I can help you out on, the bear that had the metal type string coming out of the top of his head is actually a ceiling fan ceiling light puller. The thing that you thought may have been a hand massager is actually something for you to massage your feet. You place it on the floor and you rub your feet with it. And the screens that Grandma ventures had in the 60s for her air conditioning I have some now that I bought several years ago. Unfortunately you can get them at Walmart they're not that valuable.

seperately, i love when yall describe vintage, and trivia...i graduated in the seventies...our boys are 39, 39 and 36...so we giggle when our stuff is considered vintage. the big joke is while we live in a 115 year old farmhouse in georgia, and outside screams farmhouse, the interior is log cabin, primitive ...in the process of building a real log cabin on a mountain in north carolina

well armed wife We’re building a log house too, only we live in “very rural Arkansas “. I like the country but I don’t like having to drive 30 miles to a grocery store. Plus, we’re retired and if we get really sick, I guess we’ll just die, ‘coz by the time anyone gets to us it’ll be too late.

@@susanharris4114 we are 45 minute from anything where we are in Georgia..I dont mind so much..the lot we plan to build on is atop a mountain..but only about 20 minutes from town..husband was medically retired per the VA in 2011..we were only 50 then..we have grown quite content at idleness..a pit bull, a cat and poshmark keep us busy enough 🥰

@@wellarmedwife166 we have a bloodhound named Buddy2 'coz Buddy 1 died only after 4 years. He had twisted gut, we found out. It's real common in Bloodhounds. Buddy2 is now 7 years old and is different from the other but still lovable and follows Tommy around to make sure he doesn't go anywhere without him. It's about a good mile to the log house we're building and sometimes Buddy gets to ride in the truck ( inside, mind you, spoiled dog), and sometimes he had to be in front of the truck like he's showing us the way. We're varnishing the wood for the walls and ceilings, then we can start doing the fun stuff, like the island and counter tops and tiles for the bathrooms (4). It'll be much too big for us by ourselves, but when ( and if) our kids come up, they will each have their own room. The grandkids will sleep on the floor, I guess. They won't mind. Or they can sleep in the 3 story playhouse my husband built near the woods. It's closer to the log house than the house we're living in now. I can't wait. I just wish my husband would hire more of the work that needs to be done instead of him doing it himself.

love all the unveilings. i look forward to them everyday. my sister loves popcorn. she used to have one of those popcorn pots. you just set it on the stove burner and let it pop. the one she had there was a thin piece that was attached to the top that touched the bottom. it was shaped like a wide flat u. when the corn started to pop you would turn the top. it was fast and easy. she wore hers out.
